Busy Bees!

We have had one of our busiest months in the office and we were the top agent in the area for sales in May! Lots of hard work went into it and we are very proud to shout it from the rooftops! We have great local knowledge of the areas we deal with; we work with trusted local businesses, always trying to source locally as we believe in working together to keep our community thriving.

Summer is here! 

Summer has arrived (apparently) and we’ve had some seriously hot days, even if they feel like a distant memory at the moment. We have been having a look around to find some great deals and found some beautiful things on all things out doors so you can enjoy the sunshine in your garden, back yard or even on a day out. Who doesn’t love a bargain?!

Ye shudda seen us gannin!

Emma and Lorraine have not long finished the Blaydon races, and they both did it under their target time! They were running for the Winlaton community centre that is in desperate need of a new oven to offer further support the local community. They do such fantastic work and are dedicated to providing services to young people and adults. This is all with fundraising and with very little support from the local authorities. Emma and Lorraine have proudly presented them with a cheque for £500. Thank you to everyone who sponsored us!

Due to expansion, we now require a Lettings Specialist/Administrator to join our friendly team. Duties include:


  • ·        Based in the front office with general office duties including answering the phone, dealing with face to face customers, emails and helping with any enquiries as needed
  • ·        Database input and management
  • ·        Negotiating potential lets between tenants and landlords
  • ·        Progressing a holding fee to move in including references and all admin/paperwork
  • ·        Post move in administration
  • ·        Booking gas safety certificates and managing annual renewals when due
  • ·        Dealing with property maintenance. Liaising with tenants and landlords to arrange quotes, book in work and ensure jobs are completed
  • ·        Dealing with all tenancy renewals and associated admin/paperwork
  • ·        Managed property inspections
  • ·        Filing
  • ·        Canvassing
  • ·        Social media management

The ideal candidate needs to be motivated, friendly, able to deal with customers and be able to multi task with all duties.

Office hours are Monday-Friday 9am-5.30pm and Saturdays 10am-2pm.

The hours can be flexible depending on experience of the candidate. Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential as full training will be given. Salary flexible depending on experience.

Driving licence and access to own vehicle is required.

Where the year has gone, we just don't know! Not only did we see Christmas in with style, but also our 1st Birthday! Firstly we would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for helping us reach this incredible milestone. Whether you were buyers, vendors, landlords, tenants, friends, family or simply a member of the community popping in to show us your support we could not have done it without you! We have been so welcomed by the local community and businesses it feels like we've been open much longer, going from strength to strength everyday. We feel truly blessed to have had such a fantastic first year, and our celebration is to more new properties, new buyers, new tenants and another great year!
